Discover the exceptional beauty of Andalusia on this cross country, fully catered mountain bike trip. You cycle through the Wild West of Europe, through a dramatic landscape, past rugged rock formations and the famous white villages.
This is a unique trip in a small group (minimum 6, max 12 people) with accommodation in 4 authentic haciendas, MTB guide and a support vehicle with backup equipment. Breakfast, lunch and 3 dinners are included. Every day you cycle between 25 and 32 miles, over rolling hills.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Ronda
We will pick you up at Malaga airport or in the city center and take you to Ronda. Here we explain the trip in detail.
The fairytale city Ronda is built on a hill. Characteristic is the deep 'El Tajo' gorge with the sturdy bridge 'Puente Nuevo' from the 18th century. The bridge is known as one of the most beautiful in Spain. Today Ronda is a lively town with a typical Spanish atmosphere.
You stay in a hacienda decorated in the authentic Moorish style. It has a beautiful garden, swimming pool and is within walking distance of the city center.
(optional) Depending on your arrival time, you can take a walk or MTB tour along the Ronda gorge that day, with beautiful views. Or through the Sierra de las Nieves nature park.

Day 2: Through olive groves and a unique rock village

Today is a beautiful ride through the Andalusian interior and gives you a first glimpse of the unique, white villages. You leave Ronda behind and cycle past old viaducts, olive groves and look out on stunning landscapes.
We provide lunch on the road, in a unique setting.
We end the first day with an aperitif in an extra ordinary village, with houses inside caves, carved into the cliffs above the river. From there it is only 2 miles to our hotel.
We sleep in an impressive country hotel, an old mill in the middle of nature with a large swimming pool. Enjoy dinner on the cozy terrace.
Day 3: Through the natural park 'Penon de Zaframagon'

After breakfast we leave on beautiful gravel roads We pass 2 charming white villages and then cycle through the natural park of Penon de Zaframagon, with one of the largest vulture populations in Europe.
The desert-like landscape here offers beautiful views. We provide lunch in a desolate village, where time stood still.
The last part of the route we follow the rugged ridge of Algodonales, in the distance we see the lake of Zahara de la Sierra. We sleep in a lodge in a valley. You can relax at the pool and enjoy a typical paella overviewing nature. We have the lodge to ourselves.

the picturesque Zahara de la Sierra.
Day 4: Magical Zahara and the rugged nature of the Sierra de Grazalema park
In the morning we cycle past the fairytale village of Zahara de la Sierra, with its famous lake.
Then we leave the civilized world behind us and cycle into the Sierra de Grazalema natural park. This is a protected area with high peaks, rugged nature and hidden valleys. A dramatic and unspoilt landscape!
(optional) End the day with an aperitif in picturesque Grazalema. This village has been voted one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Taste the Payoyo cheese, a local delicacy.
We sleep in an ecolodge 5 km away, in the middle of the nature park. This lodge is known for stargazing, has a beautiful swimming pool built into the rocks and you can do unique horse riding rides. We enjoy a three-course dinner with products from our own garden.

Day 5: Dramatic landscapes and stunning views
On our last mountain bike ride we feel like we are in the Wild West: you cycle through rugged landscapes, over the beautiful plateau of "Libar" and along rugged rock formations and paths far away from civilization.
Gravel roads, single track and some steep climbs, make this a ride you will not soon forget.
We pass the beautiful white villages of Montejaque and Benoajan. The last part is a steep climb with panoramas over idyllic Ronda.
Here we meet at the bicycle shop in Ronda. Then we will take you to Malaga, where you stay in a boutique address close to the airport of Malaga.
